Welcome to the Choctaw Round Up Club (CRUC). We are located in Choctaw, Oklahoma on NE 36th Street between Hiwassee and Henney Roads at 13700 NE 36th.
Each year the CRUC sponsors several equine related activities including an Open Rodeo, Barrel Racing Series, and Drill Team Activities.
***De-spooking/Extreme Trail Clinic has been rescheduled for May 19th.***
We have a de-spooking/extreme trail clinic planned for May 12 with a back up day of May 19 in case of rain on the 12th.
Check in will be 8am and event will run until 6pm that evening. We need volunteers to work this event!
The clinic is being run by Meschelle Potter, APHA ProHorseman. Clinic proceeds go to raise money for Savanna Foutch, 10 yr old shooting victim. Price will be $50.00 first horse and $5.00 each additional horse. A negative Coggins report is required for each horse!

Freeze Branding Clinic: 4B Custom Freeze Branding & Irons, Kim Butler, will be holding a freeze branding clinic on May 19th starting at 9 am. The cost will be $35.00 per head, cash only. He does not brand a horse over twice and suggests if you would like to have a custom built branding iron to contact him before 5-10-12 to have one built. A twitch will be used on every horse. Contact Kim Butler at 405-919-3357 for any questions or to have a custom brand built.
The drill team could use volunteers for the Heart Of Oklahoma Equestrian Drill Competition in Shawnee on June 23. This is an all day event and we can use your help. Contact cruc2010@live.com if you can help.
